We hire on what you've built, not where you went to school. Send a link to a real thing that runs in production.
Small team, large surface.
You'll touch the whole stack on day one — generation pipeline, marketing site, mobile, billing, ops. We do not have a 14-person Platform team to defer to.
Async by default, focused by intent.
EU working hours overlap. Long blocks of focus, written-first communication, meetings only when async actually fails.
Direct, kind, fast.
We say what we mean and we say it the same way to teammates and to customers. No politics, no corporate translation, no passive aggression.
Bias to ship.
We'd rather ship a 70% feature today and iterate than ship a 100% feature in a quarter. Reversibility > theoretical perfection.
Equity for the long term.
We're bootstrapped. Equity comes with real upside if the company compounds and real risk if it doesn't — which is the honest version of any startup offer.
The shape of person we say yes to.
We don't hire for titles. We hire for outcomes. The traits below show up across every role we've opened.
- ✓Comfortable shipping production code in TypeScript / Next.js / PostgreSQL.
- ✓Has shipped at least one substantive thing end-to-end (your name on it).
- ✓Reads the docs before asking, writes a good error report after asking.
- ✓Cares about UX in code (errors, edge cases, empty states) the same way as in pixels.
- ✓Thinks in product, not in tickets.
- ✓Speaks English well; Portuguese is a plus, not a requirement.

- Founder call — 45 min, both directions, real talk.
- Paid take-home tied to actual product surface (≤ 6h, paid €300).
- Walkthrough of the take-home + 90-day plan discussion.
- Offer or honest no within 5 business days end-to-end.
Compensation
We pay competitive Lisbon market salaries plus equity. Remote within Europe is fine; Portugal-resident contracts are easier for both sides on tax. We share the comp band before the first call so nobody wastes a week.
