At the end of August we moved VULK onto an engine we rebuilt from the ground up. We were so busy making it good that we never sat down and told you about it properly. This is that post.
If you haven’t opened VULK since the summer, this is what you’ll find.
3D you can take anywhere

A 3D object VULK makes now downloads as GLB, STL, OBJ or USDZ: for a game engine, a 3D printer, a website or an iPhone’s AR view. From the 3D tab, or straight from its line in the chat.
Two worlds to step into

Kaze no Michi. A samurai duel in a wind-swept pampas field, written by Claude Opus 5.5 for the VULK gallery. Play on a computer with a keyboard and mouse. Play →

Skerra. Explore a fictional shipyard’s 31-metre expedition yacht in a site hand-coded for the VULK gallery. Change the weather, open the stern terrace and choose the hull, deck and upholstery. Explore →
Full-stack by default
Every full-stack app gets its own PostgreSQL database, user accounts and a REST API. Real data, from the first preview.
Delivered complete
A new project arrives with sample content in every section, never with empty slots waiting for you to fill.
Also new
- Runs of up to three hours. Big builds no longer stop at 30 minutes.
- Android, ready for Google Play. Flutter apps get an installable APK and a signed Play bundle (AAB).
- A public API on every plan. Create an API key and drive VULK from your own tools through
/api/v1. - The newest Claude models on Auto. Sonnet 5.5 on Builder, Opus 5.5 on Pro, Fable 5.1 for 3D. Why we changed the model behind Pro.
- Bring your own Claude. Vulk Connect runs text and code on the Claude subscription you already have.
- Clips from your own pictures. A video can start and end on images you upload.
- Every Google font. Your sites can use any family on Google Fonts.
Try it: two prompts that show the new engine
A members’ area for a climbing gym, with sign-up, class bookings and a page that shows who is in today.
A 3D configurator for a wooden chair: pick the wood and the fabric, and turn it around before you buy.
