No — and any tool claiming otherwise is rendering an imitation. Liquid executes inside Shopify’s runtime, so you preview the generated theme on your own store via `shopify theme dev`. VULK gives you the complete code and the exact CLI steps.
What exactly does VULK generate?
A full theme codebase: layout, JSON templates, sections with settings schemas, snippets and assets. It follows standard Shopify theme structure, so the theme editor and your existing workflow work normally.
Does VULK also build Shopify apps or Hydrogen storefronts?
Yes — Shopify app (Remix + App Bridge) and Hydrogen storefront code generation are supported, likewise generation-only: both require Shopify credentials and runtime, so you run them with your own store setup.
