What We Shipped at VULK in October 2026 (So Far)

Compiled on October 10, 2026, from the pull requests merged into the VULK product between October 1 and October 10, 2026. We will update this post as the month goes on.

In the first ten days of October 2026 we merged 247 pull requests into the VULK product. As in September, this post keeps only what you can see or use, grouped by area and explained in plain language. Tests, safety checks and internal tools are left out.

Use VULK from your AI assistant

VULK has a remote MCP server again, now running inside the current platform.

  • Sign in instead of an API key. Add https://app.vulk.dev/mcp to Claude, Claude Code or another assistant that supports remote MCP servers, sign in to VULK and approve the connection.
  • Build from the assistant. Besides reading your projects, files and usage, the assistant can create a project, send the next instruction to one, follow its progress and stop it. It spends credits your plan already includes, exactly as the editor would.
  • A second address. The same server answers at https://mcp.vulk.dev/mcp.
  • See and remove connected apps under Settings › Integrations.
  • Better for models. Every tool now carries a readable title and publishes the exact shape of its answer as an output schema.

The full tool list is in our post on the VULK MCP connector.

Teams

  • Team workspaces. You can invite people into your account, share projects with them and work from one credit balance.
  • Spending per member. Each member spends under their own name, up to a monthly limit the team sets.
  • Invites that arrive. Invitations reach new email addresses, and a member's Billing page leads to the owner.

Phone apps

  • Ask for the APK in the chat. A message that asks for the APK builds it from the delivered files, and a card in the conversation follows the build until it becomes a Download button.
  • Updates install as updates. An edited app keeps the Android package name it was installed with, so a build signed with the same key installs over the old one.
  • APK-only requests leave your code alone. Asking only for the APK builds the app you already have without running the code writer.
  • Designed, not stock. Generated Flutter apps now get a visual kit compiled from their design instead of stock Material: surfaces with soft shadows, photo cards, a hero image and a floating dock. Every app also gets its own signature colour, atmosphere and navigation form.
  • Colours that pass. A palette that fails a contrast check is moved to the nearest colours that pass, instead of the build being refused.
  • Sign-in screens for full-stack Flutter. A full-stack Flutter app can now plan its own sign-in screen and reuse an image across screens.

The details, with measured build times and sizes, are in Flutter apps with VULK.

Websites

  • 26 typefaces instead of six. Generated sites now start from art direction, a minimum level of motion and a catalogue of 26 typefaces. With only six, every site had started to read the same.
  • A direction board first. Before any code is written, the first generation of a project draws its home page as one direction board, and the code writers see it.
  • Each project owns its composition. The layout is written for the project itself instead of coming from a global layout recipe.
  • Fonts back on older sites. Sites that were delivered in system fonts get their designed fonts back on their next edit.
  • Taking 3D out works. Asking to remove the 3D from a project now removes its runtime, its views and its presentation, and adapts the pages that used it.

Attach almost anything

What you attach to the chat now arrives in a form the build can use:

  • PDF and Office documents arrive as their text, read in your browser and counted in pages.
  • Images in GIF, SVG, HEIC, AVIF, BMP or TIFF are stored whole with a still, or converted in your browser.
  • Font files become web fonts the page can declare.
  • Text files are read in their real encoding, such as UTF-16 or Windows-1252, and VULK tells you which.
  • Sounds play where your request says.

Images, video and 3D

  • True 4K images, bought through the API that actually offers 4K.
  • Seedance 2.5 joined the video engines at 720p, and it is the default for text-to-video in Director.
  • 3D objects made in Director open in an interactive GLB viewer.

Publishing

  • Unpublish. A published site can be taken offline. The site is removed and the address stays with your project.
  • Better address suggestions. The publish field suggests an address based on your project's name and shows it in full. A project named in any script, such as Japanese, Hindi or Cyrillic, gets an address that reads as its name instead of a random code.

Plans and pricing

  • Builder's models are named. The Builder plan card now names its models, GPT-6.1 Sol and Claude Sonnet 5. Higher models, and video, need Pro.
  • Monthly or annual can be chosen again by existing subscribers.
  • Introductory offers are now applied across the app and the website at the same time, without waiting for a release.
  • Out of credits, one click. A stop that tells you what to buy carries the button to buy it, and a message refused for lack of credits opens the plans with your request kept.

The studio

  • 251 templates, all of them playing in their own frame, with a working copy for paying customers.
  • A cleaner composer. The message box keeps its controls on one row, says every refusal and the credits line in full in all eight languages, and opens a capability's settings before writing it into your sentence.
  • A clearer transcript. The agent's work reads as runs, tool lines, output and diff cards.
  • Resizable split. A handle between the preview and the chat lets you size them.
  • Delete your account from Settings, and a public page explains how to do it without signing in.
  • Simpler sign-up. Signing up with Google or GitHub no longer asks for a code from your inbox.
  • Your language from the first screen. The home screen greets you in all eight languages.

Showcase

Three showcase originals went live: VELA, a four-page site for a scooter brand; Rutura, an adventure game in the browser; and Ossa, stone speakers in a 3D scene. The English version of Unfold was published too. All of them are in the showcase.
